The InFoReX Solution Line was developed with the almost exclusive use of Microsoft software tools, which means that MS products are used in both development and operation.

All data and the majority of the business logic is stored in the system by using the SQL Server 2000 database management software. Users can access the services of the system through an application that was developed under Visual Studio 6. Our company will port the system to SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2005 platform (.Net) this year.

Technological requirements for using InFoReX:

Szerver: Pentium 2 Ghz, 1G RAM (2G recommended), 20G HDD, Windows 2003 Server, SQL Server 2000 or 2005.

Client: Pentium 1 Ghz, 512 M RAM (1G recommended), 10G HDD, Windows 98/NT4/2000/XP, Visual Studio Runtime (VBRun60sp6.exe).

Network: LAN minimum 10 mbps (100 mbps recommended), TCP/IP protocol.

Executable (.exe) files related to InFoReX Solution are stored on the server, therefore clients do not require updating if you carry out a versions upgrade.

InFoReX Solution user authorization supports both SQL Server and Active Directory based login. In the former case, you must enter your username and password on launching the InFoReX system. In this case, users are authorized by the SQL Server. In the latter (integrated) case, users are automatically recognized by InFoReX upon entering the domain. In this case, user rights may also be managed through Active Directory.
